Vaping Tips For New E-Cigarette User
Personal Vaporizers or Vape is synonymous with E-Cigarettes. Personal vapes are now a widely popular device that has now been used in place of traditional cigarettes that use tobacco. Vape are devices that use propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin and food coloring. Depending on the preferences of the user, it can also contain either no nicotine, low dose and high amounts of nicotine. E-Cigarettes weren’t introduced until 2006, three years after it was created by a Chinese pharmacist named Hon Lik. Ever since, Vaping has become an ever popular recreation for especially to younger users and those switching from regular tobacco smoke. The E-cigarette industry has greatly expanded ever since the its early beginnings and now there are a multitude of companies and businesses selling component parts and e-juices. There is now a huge variety of E-cigarette types that one can pick from the many companies that manufacture them. There are a lot of modifiable or mod cigarettes available as well which are great for more experienced users. Although there are many types of Personal Vaporizers available in the market as of the present, these devices still operate on the same principle. These devices still require an energy source most often a lithium ion battery as well as a wire coil that will heat up and create the vapor. A wick is utilized to get the e-liquid into the coil of the vaporizer. The component parts of the E-cigarette is also important to familiarize.
Batteries are the most important part of the vape. This will be the provider of electricity for the device. There are a number of E-cigarettes that does not allow the internal battery of the device to be changed unlike others. Often those that allow replacement on batteries are for more experienced vape users since these often causes malfunctions to the device that can sometimes be dangerous. Coils are another small part of the device that is very important. This spring looking part are the ones that cause heating up of the liquids turning them into inhalable vapor. Resistance determines the vaporizers electricity consumption. The coils are made from Nichrome and Kanthal that have been proven safe for use. The “juice” as it is more commonly called is composed of vegetable glycerin, food coloring, propylene glycol and can be or without nicotine.
These liquids can vary in their PG/VG ratio and nicotine amount.
Typically, those who switch from tobacco start from a higher amount of nicotine in juices.
Overtime, the nicotine content can be decreased as they suit. Heavy smokers typically start as high as 24mg/ml but often they can switch to lower dosages to 12mg/ml. It is, however, only recommended to have a strength of below 18mg/ml.
For beginners, the best device to use are low output regulated ones that have integrated internal batteries. More complex devices are often better but for those who are still new to Vaping, this might be the most appropriate to have.
